寛永年間創業の料亭「河文」。その歴史は、名古屋城築城の後から始まりました。江戸時代から続く市内で唯一の料理屋。名古屋で最も長い歴史を持っています。
“Kawabun”  has established in Kanei imperial period. Its history has started with Nagoya castle construction. The only restaurant in Nagoya city that has the longest history from Edo era.

長い時の流れの中で、少しずつ変化してきた河文。魚屋「河内屋」から仕出し屋、料理屋へと。文政年間になると芸者が料亭で酒宴の間のとりもちをするようになり、明治以降は中日本随一の迎賓館として、伊藤博文、吉田茂、田中角栄などの歴代首相や、ミッテラン元仏大統領など、国内外の要人が来訪。数々の著名人たちに愛されてきたそう。
Kawabun has changed little by little in the stream of time. Start with dealer “Kawachiya” to caterer, then restaurant. In Bunsei imperial period, Geisha has held reception banquet at restaurant. After the Meiji period, Kawabun has used as the best place for reception in central Japan and Vi. Many public figures like prime ministers – Hirobumi Ito, Shigeru Yoshida, Kakuei Tanaka have loved the place.

現在は靴履のままご利用いただけるように館内を改装。車椅子や杖を利用されるお客様、乳幼児を連れてのご来店でも過ごし易いように、椅子席を主流とし、海外からのお客様にもより親しみやすい環境となっています。
The restaurant is remodelled for the customers, can visit with your shoes on. For customers with wheelchairs and canes and visitors from abroad, the store added chair seats to enjoy the stay.

店内は、個室とカウンター割烹、茶房があります。着いたその時からお食事、そして、河文を後にするそのときまで、心地よく過ごせる空間が整っているんですよ。
There is private rooms and counter seat and tearoom. From when you get to leave Kawabun, we prepare every space to make you spend your time comfortably.

さて、お食事について。河文には昼会席と夜会席があります。お客様の御予算等に合わせてそれぞれ3種からお選びいただけます。その他にも、お食い初めや初誕生、ご結納やお顔合わせ、長寿のお祝いなどに御利用いただける特別会席、また、ウェディングプランもありますので、是非ご相談ください。
