子どもから大人まで、外国の旅行客にも絶大な人気を誇る観光スポットが、三重県伊賀市にある伊賀流忍者博物館です。
Greatly popular among any foreign tourists from adults to children as a unique attraction , Ninja Museum of Igaryu is in Iga city, Mie Prefecture.

伊賀市高山にあった民家を移築し、忍者屋敷として開館。さまざまな〝からくり〟のある忍者屋敷を、「女忍者」くノ一（くのいち）が案内してくれます。
A private house at Takayama, Iga city relocated and opened to public as a ninja house. Kunoichi, a female ninja guides visitors inside the house full of traps and tricks.

一見、普通の田舎屋敷に見えますが、中に入ると驚くことばかり！　「どんでん返し」「抜け道」「隠し戸」・・・からくりや仕掛けは、忍者の智恵が詰まっていて、案内人が丁寧に説明してくれます。話を聞き、実際の仕掛けを見て「うわぁ！」と驚きの声をあげる子どもの横で、子ども以上に目を見開いて感嘆している大人の姿も！
At first, the house looks like simple rural house but the big surprise awaits you! “Donden gaeshi”(secret revolving wall), loophole and hidden door…..guide will show and explain those house mechanics with ninja wisdom. No doubt it is very surprising for children, but also astonishing for adults!

さぁ、次は「忍術体験館」に行ってみましょう。伊賀忍者が上野城へ密かに潜入する様子をミニシアターで見学できます。忍者が使用していた道具も紹介され、手に触れることもできます。特に人気の高い手裏剣もたくさん展示されています。手裏剣は実際に自分で投げてみる体験コーナーがあり、こちらも大人気。せっかくですから、忍者コスプレして本気で手裏剣投げたら楽しいはず！
The place you should visit next is Ninja experience hall. Visitors can watch a stealth infiltrate mission of Iga ninja to Ueno Castle at the mini theatre. Ninja tools are being displayed as well and visitors are allowed to handle some of them. Let’s try shuriken throwing trial and ninja cosplay!

他に忍術伝承館もあり、暗号や人相学について学べます。忍者の古文書など興味深い資料も豊富です。
There is Ninja tradition hall too, where visitors can learn about ninja secret codes and physiognomy. There are many interesting document about ninja are displayed.

そして最も人気があるのが、忍者ショーです！
And most popular attraction at the museum is Ninja show.伊賀流忍者博物館で、年間1,200回に及ぶ実演を行っているのが忍者集団「阿修羅」です。彼らはお遊びの忍者ではありません！　正心・技・体を基に、伊賀流の伝統を受け継ぐ三重県と伊賀市が公認する忍者、NINJAなのです！　
Ninja group “Ashura” hold Ninja arts demonstration at Ninja Museum of Igaryu, 1200 performances a year. They are real ninja with Igaryu tradition of mind, arts and steadiness, and are officially authorized by Mie Prefecture and Iga City!

手裏剣、刀、鎖鎌などの忍具を使用し、目の前で実演。日々鍛錬を怠らない忍者の技に、どよめきや歓声が響き渡ります。時に笑いもはさんで、30分のショーはあっという間ですね。伊賀流忍者博物館にきたら、忍者ショーは見逃せません。
Visitors can watch their demonstration using with ninja tools such as shuriken, katana and kusarigama(sickle and chain). Cheers are everywhere watching skilled ninja arts. Their arts are sometimes astonishing, sometimes comical. The show lasts 30 minutes but you must feel time passes so quick. A must-see show.

三重県を訪れたら外せないレジャースポットですが、思った以上にきちんとした資料も多く、見て学ぶところも多いですね。忍者が鍛え抜かれた心身と卓越した智恵によって乱世を生き抜いてきた歴史に触れることができるでしょう。
Ninja Museum of Igaryu is not just a leisure area. It is a place to learn about ninja and its tradition with organized documents. You can learn ninja’s history, who survived troubled times with their forged spirit and wisdom.
